CONDITIONS


The ballet school is for children from 4 to 18 years of age and adults. Students of classical ballet are divided by age into 6 classes and lessons are conducted two times per week with the exception of classes 1A, 1I and 1B, which can be attended just once week. Modern dance lessons take place once per week and they are open only for students of classes 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B, 5A, 5I, 5B, 6A, 6I, 6B

Classes 1I and 1B last 50 minutes.
Class 1A, 2AIB, 3AB, 4AB last 60 minutes 5AIB 6AIB last 75 minutes.
Modern dance lesson lasts 60 minutes.
Intensive lessons are intended for students of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th level.
For classes 5A and 6A intensive lessons are compulsory.

Family discounts of 10% are available.

  • Students are accepted on the bases of an entrance interview.
  • Classes are conducted in English, knowledge of English is necessary.
  • During the entire semester the students are required to have medical insurance in case of injury.
  • The tuition fee will be paid by a bank transfer to the Ballet School bank account before the trimester will start. Late payment: For each day of late payment will charge 0.5% of the amount. The tuition can also be paid in cash at the reception of the Ballet School. Students accepted after the payment is received.
  • Parents or guardians are not allowed to observe the classes. They can wait for children at the reception of the Ballet School. At the end of every trimester there will be an “open class” or a small performance presented to parents, family and friends.
  • In class students must wear proper ballet attire and shoes. The dress code, including hair style, will be specified during the interview.
  • Classes will be conducted independently of bank and school holidays within the Czech Republic.
  • Students must follow the rules of the Ballet School and be guided by instructions of the pedagogues.
  • Any questions, problems or issues for debate cannot be discussed with teachers during class. If you have any problems or questions, you need to contact the management of the Ballet School and arrange an appointment.
  • Cancelation terms: A refund will be given to registered students who cancel their attendance for serious reasons before the beginning of the trimester. This refund will not include a cancelation fee 20% of the total amount. Once the trimester begins, there will be no more refunds.
